This is the first book I've read about Australia and I really enjoyed it! I love historical fiction and was glad to read about something I didn't already know much about. I really enjoyed the character development, and the evolution of their thoughts, experiences and loyalties throughout the book. Definitely a book I'd recommend and I look forward to reading the other books in the series.
