Dual review - succubus on succubus

Succubus Blues - Richelle Mead Succubus on Top - Richelle Mead

This will be a quickie review for both books.

I read the Vampire Academy series and was actually pleasantly surprised.  After my not great week last week, I was looking for something light to get my mind off things.  These were books I could read in a night.  They're fun, sexy, and easy to lose myself in.  Maybe not YA, but not raunchy either.  Not as much sex as you'd expect from a book about a succubus, but still a lot of fun.

I was in the midst of reading my first Netgalley book, but it's about slaves during the Revolutionary War, and it was a bit too depressing and demanding for me at this time.

The succubus books are a lot of fun though, so I think I'll put the slaves book on hold for a moment, and enjoy the ride here.
