Good in theory, but lost me in execution.

Splintered - A.G. Howard

I wanted -- and expected -- to like this book a lot more than I did.  It has an interesting premise, and had some somewhat creepy parts.  But the book just fell flat for me.

I didn't buy into the whole Alice Liddell (the "original" Alice)/Alison/Alyssa connection.  Modern day Alyssa was just not doing it for me.  I wanted to buy into her mental condition, but I didn't really care one way or the other.  And the love triangle between her, Jeb and Taelor was really silly.

This is book one in a series, but I'm not interested enough in the story to read book two.
